The Film
This (apart from possibly Lethal Wepon) is the perfect 80s ‘buddy cop’ film! While being rivals, they are the 2 best narcs in LA although they couldn’t be more different. Tango is a sharp dressed “by the book” cop, while Cash is more of a ripped t-shirt & jeans wearing cop with a gung-ho attitude. When they are framed for a murder by drug kingpin Yves Perret to get them off the streets, they must then work together to break out of prison and prove their innocence.
